The Science
Unique and compelling scientific story backed by research from world-renowned technical experts
Dozens of scientific papers connect the Wyoming Province to the Abitibi at the time of gold mineralization (~2.65 billion years ago) unlocking modern-day Wyoming as a potentially overlooked and underexplored source of Abitibi gold potential.
The technical experts who help Relevant Gold apply these and other scientific insights in the search for gold include:
- Kevin Chamberlain, Ph.D
- Dean Peterson, Ph.D
- Tom Campbell, Ph.D
The Opportunity
True district-scale projects with proven high-grade gold
- Bradley Peak | 10,800 acres (4,371 hectares) | 6 high-grade targets identified | All 12 drill holes intersected gold mineralization (2025 Apex) | Samples up to 46.8 g/t Au + 7.8% Cu + 2% Zn (2024)
- Golden Buffalo | 9,600 acres (3,884 hectares) | 83.8 g/t Au over 1 m drill intercept (2023) | Samples up to 168 g/t Au
- Lewiston | 14,000 acres (5,665 hectares) |16 of 17 drill holes intersected gold mineralization (2023, 2024) with Samples up to 62 g/t Au + 2203 g/t Ag + 12.7% Cu + 4.3% Pb
- Shield-Carissa | >2,000 acres (809 hectares) | Samples up to 18.96 g/t Au + 486.9 g/t Ag | ~200,000 oz Au historic production at adjacent Carissa Mine
- Windy Flats | 6,200 acres (~2,500 hectares) | Soil sampling program (2024)
Why Wyoming?
With over 50,000 acres of mineral rights spread across two camps, Relevant Gold is well positioned to pursue true district-scale gold opportunities in Wyoming, USA. Here are a few of the reasons we are so excited about this opportunity:
Abitibi connection
- Shear-hosted gold mineralization throughout Wyoming was connected to the Abitibi shear zone belts of the Superior Province during gold endowment, approximately 2.65 billion years ago.
- These Archean belts with age relationship to the Abitibi are historically mined but under-explored districts of orogenic, shear-hosted lode gold.
- This connection opens Wyoming up to great potential for Abitibi-scale deposits yet to be discovered.
High-grade proven gold
- Highest grade surface samples to date: 168 g/t Au, 2203 g/t Ag, 12.7% Cu, 4.3% Pb
- Highest grade drill intercept to-date: 83.8 g/t Au over 1m within 3m @ 28 g/t Au (Golden Buffalo/South Pass Camp)
- 17 high-grade gold targets have been identified across the Company’s 5 project areas (Bradley Peak, Lewiston, Golden Buffalo, Shield-Carissa, Windy Flats)
- 11,166 m of drilling has been conducted across 4 small drill programs since 2022; 76% (42 of 55) of drill holes have intersected gold mineralization in never-before-drilled targets in these programs
Mining-friendly region with historic mining culture
- Wyoming is one of the best mining jurisdictions in the world, and was recently (2025) named the 4th best mining investment jurisdiction globally by Fraser Institute Policy Perception Index; projects face low social and environmental risks.
- Wyoming is the least populated state in the United States and was founded on resource development.
- Permitting in Wyoming is streamlined and the Relevant Gold team has significant experience working with Federal, State, and Local jurisdictions on permitting.
